Les Tourelles de Lamothe 2010

Looking for a bottle of Sauternes?  We are lucky to have some 201o from Lamothe-Despujols.  We also have 2011 in a 50 cl and 2012 in a 75 cl bottle.  A perfect accompaniment at the end of a meal for the dessert.  A great example of a budget sauternes, made from the second production grapes.  In a great year this can be better than some first production wines from other houses and 2010 was a great year.  Like its sister products it is great for aperitifs or as a standard dessert wine.  We usually open this size bottle because we know it lasts in the refrigerator for up to 14 days and we use it as an alternative aperitif.  At this price you can afford to treat yourself to an introduction to this wonderful and classic dessert wine.  This is an excellent wine that will lay down for up to 10 years.
